Wallaby stuck in harbour rescued by some very nice ferry workers

Look, we've said before that you'll never see a wallaby in Australian cities — they're wild animals, after all. Yes, police recently pursued one down the Sydney Harbour Bridge, but we all thought that would be a one-off. 

We thought wrong.

Ferry workers helped save a wallaby that was struggling to swim in the middle of Sydney Harbour on Thursday afternoon, ABC News reported. 

The marsupial was located 50 metres out from shore, and was pulled out of the water with a rope by the Manly Fast Ferry crew. Onlookers managed to film the rescue on video. Read more...
