Elgar case: Pawar seeks SIT probe against police

NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Saturday sought the formation of a special investigation team to conduct an “independent inquiry” into the cases filed against human rights activists. Expressing one’s views in strong word or reading out poems cannot attract charges of sedition, he said.
