Sensex tanks over 350 points; Nifty below 10,900

Equity indices started on a lower note on Friday with the benchmark BSE sensex diving over 350 points amid weak show from metal and realty stocks. Sensex plunged 369 points or 1 per cent to 36,650; while the broader NSE Nifty tanked 100 points or 0.91 per cent to 10,880.
