A woman who “matched” the description of a child-lifter given on WhatsApp messages became the latest victim of mob’s wrath as she was tailed, thrashed and then stripped to essentials by a group of over 2oo people in a busy market of Meerut. She was saved by a bunch of policemen who took her to a hospital.
