This cheap app will teach you a new language by getting songs stuck in your head

It’s the 21st century, folks. If your idea of learning a new language is listening to robotic voices narrate phrases on repeat, or sitting in a classroom listening to a teacher drone on — think again. There’s another way to learn: getting a song stuck in your head. Basically, the brain has a natural ability to memorize words that are applied to a rhythm. Makes sense, right? That’s why catching onto the lyrics of songs you like is a breeze, because it’s easier to remember the lyrics in a song than the words in a paragraph. Read more...
