Many J&K politicians, including Mehbooba Mufti and another former CM and National Conference vice-president Omar Abdullah, were taken into preventive custody on August 5 last year following the scrapping of special status of the state. Later, on February 6, PSA was slapped on both Mehbooba and Omar.
