The Allahabad HC on Monday refused to grant relief to the Shahjahanpur law student who sought a stay on her possible arrest in an extortion case filed by BJP leader Swami Chinmayanand, whom she has accused of raping her. Satisfied with the report, the division bench directed the SIT to submit further progress report and fixed Oct 22 as the next hearing of the case.
