The South Pacific and parts of South America will witness a total solar eclipse on Tuesday. The total eclipse will last up to 4 mins and 3 secs, depending on the location. A partial solar eclipse will be visible in the rest of Chile, Argentina and several other South American nations. After this, the next total solar eclipse visible over South America will be Dec 2020.
